In which I connect co-parenting, divorce cakes, and Mary J. Blige

It’s not an overstatement to say that TechBoo loves Mary J. Blige. When I proudly told him that I’d managed to mention his favorite singer in my latest co-parenting post at The Faster Times, he gave me the side eye.
“Don’t I get points for that?” I asked.
“AFTER I read it,” he replied. “Depends on how you mentioned her.”
Yeah, he’s a bit extra when it comes to her.
Find out how I mentioned her in “Divorce Cakes are Bittersweet with Kids in the Mix”.
In other break-up news, the topic of tonight’s episode of “Co-Parenting Matters” was “Getting Over Your Ex”. It was a really great show, featuring lively conversation and powerful insights and advice from Kim Hess the Divorce Guru and family therapist Dr. Makungu Akinyela. In case you missed it, here’s the podcast:
Fittingly, after tonight’s “Getting Over Your Ex” show, next week’s show is “Sex and the Single Parent”. Join El Ex, me, and our co-host Talibah Mbonisi of WeParent.com, as we welcome our guests and cyber-friends, Rachel Sarah, author “Single Mom Seeking” and founder of the blog of the same name; and, repping for the dads, RJ Jaramillo of SingleDad.com
Update from TechBoo: “Mary J is my 2nd favorite, after Anita Baker.”
