Techboo took this picture of me as I crossed the finish line in the Shadyside 5K on Saturday morning.
My official time: 38 minutes, 42 seconds.  I accomplished my dual goal of making it in under 40 minutes and not walking at all. I placed behind some babies in jogging strollers and some dogs, but ahead [...]

This time tomorrow, I will have finished my first 5K race.
I gotta pause for a minute and let that sink in.
*exhale*
TechBoo will be there to cheer me on, and possibly the girls (it’s 8 AM; they aren’t making any promises…).  I hope my next pic here will be of me crossing the finish line!
